• Help parents navigate the Private and Public school system and assist with Special Education Programming for their child

• Act as a Liaison between home, school and community professionals

• Guide parents through the IEP process, Psych-Ed assessments and the Ministry of Education policies and guidelines

Assessment of Learning Needs

Literacy  

• Test of Oral Reading Fluency and Reading Comprehension to establish the exact reading level

• Assessment of Phonological Awareness, Sight Words, Sound/Symbol correspondence, Decoding and Comprehension strategies, Word Attack skills

• Assessment of encoding (Spelling), Written Output skills and Penmanship / letter formation

Math    

• Assessment of Math fluency, core concepts, basic numerical operations and problem solving skills
